As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC®) through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP), I provide evidence-based, compassionate support to help families meet their infant feeding goals with confidence.
The Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing excellence in lactation care through nationally recognized certification programs. Its mission is to promote evidence-based knowledge and clinical competency among lactation professionals while improving access to high-quality, culturally sensitive breastfeeding support.
As a CLC, I am trained to assess feeding, support latch and positioning, help address common breastfeeding and chestfeeding challenges, educate families on normal infant feeding behaviors and recognize when referral to another healthcare provider or IBCLC is appropriate. My role is to empower you with practical guidance, individualized support and up-to-date information so you can make informed decisions that are right for your family.
Whether you're preparing to feed your baby during pregnancy, navigating the early postpartum days or working through feeding challenges later on, I'm here to provide judgment-free support every step of the way.

Feel confident and prepared for your feeding journey before your baby arrives. This personalized session covers breastfeeding basics, newborn feeding cues, latch and positioning, milk production, pumping, partner support and what to expect in the early postpartum period. Whether you plan to breastfeed/chestfeed, pump, combination feed or are still deciding, you'll receive evidence-based education and compassionate support tailored to your family's goals.

Lactation support in the comfort of your own home, where you and your baby can feed and learn in a relaxed setting. During your visit, we’ll work on latch and positioning for effective milk transfer, observe and assess a full feeding and complete pre- and post-feed weight checks when appropriate. We’ll also explore comfortable feeding positions, address pain or discomfort and create a practical feeding plan tailored to your needs. Each visit includes a full assessment of both parent and baby as it relates to feeding, along with guidance and support for any concerns that come up. My goal is to help you feel confident, supported and at ease in your feeding journey, creating positive, grounded experiences as you and your baby learn together.

Get personalized lactation support from wherever you are through a secure virtual visit. We’ll talk through your feeding concerns, observe a feeding when possible, and work on latch, positioning, pumping, milk supply and other challenges you may be experiencing. You’ll receive practical guidance, a clear feeding plan when helpful and evidence-based support tailored to your baby and your goals. Virtual care offers a flexible way to receive reassurance, education and ongoing support without needing to leave your home.

This comprehensive lactation package is designed to support you through pregnancy and postpartum with both virtual and in-home care. It includes one virtual prenatal lactation session to help you prepare for feeding your baby and two in-home lactation visits for hands-on support with latch, positioning and feeding challenges. This package offers consistent, personalized care to help you feel informed, supported and confident as you work toward your feeding goals. Additional sessions can be added as needed at standard rates.

A Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) is a trained breastfeeding and infant feeding professional who has completed comprehensive education and demonstrated competency in lactation support. CLCs provide evidence-based education, guidance and practical support to help families meet their feeding goals throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Both CLCs and International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) support breastfeeding families, but their education and scope of practice differ. As a CLC, I provide education, hands-on feeding support and guidance for many common lactation concerns. If you or your baby have a complex medical condition or feeding challenge that requires specialized clinical care, I will refer you to an IBCLC or another appropriate healthcare provider while continuing to support you however I can.
You don't have to wait until you're struggling. Lactation support can be beneficial:
I support families with a wide range of feeding concerns, including:
If your concerns are outside my scope of practice, I will help connect you with the appropriate provider.
While not required, prenatal consultations can make a significant difference. Together we'll discuss what to expect after birth, normal newborn feeding behaviors, hand expression, common challenges and strategies to help you feel prepared before your baby arrives.
Each visit is personalized to your family's needs. We will discuss your goals, review your health and feeding history, observe a feeding when appropriate, answer your questions and create a practical plan that works for your family. My goal is for you to leave feeling informed, supported and confident.
Absolutely! Every family's feeding journey is unique. Whether you're exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, exclusively formula feeding or your plans have changed, you'll receive compassionate, judgment-free support that respects your goals.
Yes. I offer in-home lactation support so you can receive care in the comfort of your own home. Virtual consultations are also available for families who prefer remote support or live outside my service area.
If possible, have your baby ready to feed around the time of our visit. If you're pumping, have your pump and any accessories available. There's no need to clean your house or prepare anything special—I'm there to support you, not judge your home.
Appointment lengths vary depending on the type of visit and your family's needs. Most lactation consultations last between 1 and 2 hours, allowing plenty of time for education, observation, questions and a personalized care plan.
Coverage varies depending on your insurance plan. If you plan to seek reimbursement, I can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company if applicable. Please check with your insurance provider regarding your specific benefits.
Yes. Your privacy is important. All information shared during our visits is kept confidential in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional standards.
Many families benefit from follow-up visits as feeding changes over time. Some concerns are resolved in a single visit, while others improve with ongoing support. We'll create a plan based on your individual needs and additional visits can always be scheduled if desired.
